``Smash Hits 02'' from ONBEAT will be held at YUGEN Gallery from Saturday, October 22nd to Thursday, November 3rd, 2022.

This exhibition is a popular project developed by the bilingual art information magazine "ONBEAT" under the title "Notable Young Artists Recommended by ONBEAT", and will be held at "YUGEN Gallery" in Shibuya. .

The artists exhibited in the first half (October 22nd to October 27th) are Shinya Koga, Hiroki Nakano, Kiyo Ohtaki, Masashi Sasaki, Chiko Takei, Tartarus Japan, Hiroki Tsutamoto, Yu Uchida, Yujiro Ueno, and Yunori Yamamoto. In the second half (October 29th to November 3rd), Hironobu Asaka, Tomokazu Fujita, Yudai Kitaura, Hayato Koga, Ryosuke Misawa, Yohi Muta, Kazumasa Seino, and Aya Seki.

Their best works that are loved not only by readers but also by collectors are gathered together.

Hirono Asaka

HIROYOSHI ASAKA

Born in Osaka in 1977. Graduated from Kyoto University of the Arts. 2009, 2012, 2017, 2020 Takashimaya Touring Exhibition (Tokyo, Osaka), 2014 Seizan Gallery (Tokyo), 2015 Isetan Shinjuku Store (Tokyo) and many other solo exhibitions. 2016 "Collect" (Germany), 2019 "VOLTA Basel" (Switzerland), "PULSE Art Fair" (Miami), "Art Central" (Hong Kong), "Break Eve Exhibition" (Roppongi Hills A/D Gallery), etc. Participated in many group exhibitions and art fairs. His works are stored in Osaka City, Ginza Eikokuya (Tokyo), and Oharayama Shrine (Fukuoka).

Yudai Kitaura

YUDAI KITAURA

Born in 1994 in Nara Prefecture. In 2020, completed the lacquerware course at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Kyoto City University of Arts. Currently enrolled as a trainee in the Nara Traditional Crafts Successor Development System. In 2021, he participated in many group exhibitions and art fairs, including the Kyoto City University of Arts Art Gallery @KCUA, SICF21 Winners Exhibition (Spiral), and 3331 Art Fair (3331 Arts Chiyoda). 2020 Kyoto City University of Arts Graduation Works Exhibition Graduate Mayor's Award and many other awards. In 2021, he participated in the three-dimensional lacquer project of Ito Jakuchu “Skull” and Matsumoto Tomoyuki “Frog” at Hozoji.

Ryosuke Misawa

RYOSUKE MISAWA

Born in Fukui Prefecture in 1992. Graduated from the Rikkyo University Modern Psychology Department, Department of Film and Body. After working as a photographer, he has been active as a contemporary artist since 2020. Many solo exhibitions at Shibuya Tsutaya (Tokyo), Hankyu Men's Tokyo, Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore (Tokyo), and Imperial Hotel Plaza Tokyo. In 2021, he participated in many group exhibitions such as "Shibuya Style vol.15" (Seibu Shibuya), "Grand Pas de Deux" (Tokyu Plaza Ginza), and "Kibi" (What Cafe). 2021 Created a mural for the entrance of Daimaru Fujii (Kyoto). In 2022, he created a mural for JR Ueno Station at “Yamanote Line Museum x Ryosuke Misawa_Art Wall at Ueno Sta.”

Muta Yohi

It all started with research on special color expression using 3D printing at Keio University's Hiroya Tanaka Laboratory. Established in 2021.
