YUGEN Galleryが「IWATAYA Life with Art 2026」に出展するにあたり、YUGEN Gallery FUKUOKAで開催中の3人展《言葉のあと、意味のそと》との連動企画として紹介する作品。文字の形や意味が、物や光の見え方をどのように変えるのかに着目し、言葉とイメージの新たな関係を探る。

大谷陽一郎は、漢字の形や音、意味の間に新たなつながりを見いだし、文字による視覚詩を制作する。画面に集積された漢字は、意味を伝える記号でありながら、風景や自然の気配を思わせるイメージへと変化し、見ることと読むことの間に生まれる揺らぎを引き出す。
