KENTO KIYOHARA Kento Kiyohara

Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1980.
Began her career in 2008 with a duo exhibition at THE NORTH FACE Nishidori store.
Held her first solo exhibition at other in 2024.
Will hold a solo exhibition at Toukanonikai in 2025.
She continues to expand her activities through group exhibitions and pop-ups across Japan, as well as providing designs for fashion brands.


"I have spent half my life in the field of psychiatry. I have observed crumbling minds, struggling minds, and their silence.
At the same time, I began to teach myself oil painting.
The subject of my art has always been the human interior.
Loneliness. Emptiness. Anxiety.
An unnamed intensity lurking in the depths.
My work does not explain emotions.
It simply inscribes the fact of "being human."
Art is not decoration.
It is testimony, a trace of existence, and proof of survival."
