Born in Ishikawa Prefecture, lives in Kumamoto Prefecture.
Explores ways to express the nature of living things. Creates art while considering what can be done for animals. In 2003, visited Kenya with the desire to be involved in wildlife conservation.
After returning to Japan, began artistic activities, wondering what she could do in her own way. After graduating from university with a degree in Animal Science, worked part-time at Kumamoto City Zoo and Botanical Garden. Began working as a professional artist in 2006.
