This work is part of "Creatures," a group exhibition where five artists express animals, plants, fungi, and fantastical creatures using their respective materials and techniques. This exhibition focuses on the unseen presence and energy of life, and the relationship between nature and humans, through the diverse forms of "creatures."
Ado portrays the warmth and severity, and the unbridgeable distance that arises when confronting animals. In the "Being" series featured in this exhibition, he quietly brings to life on canvas the existence of animals living their lives in ways different from humans.
