ARTIST INTERVIEW
北山雅和の作品《TYPOGRAFFiTi》から感じるのは、言葉は武器ではなく、花や水、光といった生きる糧であること。2015年から掲げてきた反戦のメッセージ「NO WAR」。その想いについて本人に聞いた。
ABOUT ARTIST
Born in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture in 1967. After working at Contemporary Productions, he founded Help! in 1998. He has worked on CD jacket designs for Fujifabric, OKAMOTO'S, cero, and others, as well as art direction and logo design for J SPORTS' "Foot!" and the magazine "GINZA." In 2007, he released the collection "LiGHT STUFf" (selected as a recommended work by the judging committee of the 11th Japan Media Arts Festival, the Agency for Cultural Affairs). He also designed the title logo for the NHK morning drama "Carnation." His work "CHANGE" was selected for the Tokyo TDC Award (2017).
