Mie Takahashi

Born in Hokkaido in 1994.
Graduated from Yokohama College of Art and Design, Craft Department in 2017.
Based in Kamakura City.

Takahashi creates three-dimensional artworks inspired by the lines and shapes of her everyday doodles. These works feature "shapes" that condense an immeasurable amount of observations accumulated within Takahashi, creating new "shapes" with a touch of nostalgia. Her colorful, abstract "shapes" are made from terracotta or resin, painted with original paints, and finished with gradients and glazes.
