Itoshi Saccharani

Itoshi Sakhrani

Born in Tokyo in 1987. Influenced by his father, who painted oil paintings, he became familiar with painting from an early age. He is of mixed Japanese, British and Indian descent and was educated at an international school and a Japanese public school, where he was exposed to different cultures. After graduating, he worked in a variety of jobs, including a rental car shop, finance, bartending, newspaper delivery and taxi driver, before starting his career as a painter in 2020.

Saccharani's paintings combine the artist's unique vibrant colors against a backdrop of geometric shapes such as successive circles and squares, dynamic brushstrokes, and paintings of plants and clouds.
Saccharani's creative policy is to respect the culture and customs of his family and region. He mainly uses paintings and sculptures to present works that capture everyday life, which is his central interest, from various angles.
