About sales of artworks
Born in 1986, this Tokyo-based textile artist graduated from Bunka Fashion College.
The artist creates textile works inspired by the subtle scenes of everyday life and landscapes encountered while traveling. Finding a connection between the gradual process of weaving—where fibers overlap and build up—and the slow shifting of a landscape, the artist aims to capture the delicate transitions of light, color, and atmosphere as if sketching within the weave.
Born in Kumamoto in 1987. Graduated from the Fukuoka University of Education, Department of Lifelong Sports and Arts, Fine Arts Program, in 2011.
Through the meticulous stippling technique used to depict places actually visited, the artist deconstructs and reconstructs their meaning and personal memories. Major exhibitions include "VOCA 2019" (The Ueno Royal Museum, 2019) and "Koubai Art Award Encouragement Prize Selection Duo Exhibition: Reflection" (Tsunagi Art Museum, 2021).
