The usual route home

These are the artworks for "Resonance," a group exhibition that explores the subtle emotional fluctuations hidden within the works, using the word "sound" as a clue.
In this exhibition, we liken the subtle nuances of strength and rhythm that bleed into the canvas to "sound," and focus on the internal movements that reside within different forms of expression.
The overlapping colors, brushstrokes, layers of spray, and the tension and negative space created in the composition all reflect the flow of each artist's thoughts and sensibilities.
Ryusei Nakajima overlays layers of spray to imprint emotional traces on the canvas, visualizing the accumulation of fluctuations.
