FLASCO KUROism
Works exhibited at the group exhibition "KUROism - The world of tea ceremony as seen by contemporary artists."
⚫︎Handmade flasks made from 1.6-2.0mm thick SUS304 material, joined with argon welding, from component production to hand-made tools, giving them a sense of solidity and attention to detail. The leather is stitched by a lapelbootmaker with a workshop in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, using skin stitching, which means the stitching is done within the thickness of the leather without the sewing thread coming out onto the surface. The design features two pieces by EDO&YUMEKA and NUDA VELITAS&KURO ism.
⚫︎ Confetti container, capacity: 75g of 7mm small confetti for tea ceremony (approximately 60g for normal use), 100cc when used as a sake cup (for whiskey, brandy)
