Since the advent of smartphones, the internet has become inseparable from daily life, and a visual environment where the real and the virtual intertwine has become the norm. Against this backdrop, Saiki attempts to record and preserve continuously circulating images as paintings.

In this work, he focuses on fleeting moments that tend to be buried in the repetition of daily life. Even days that seem the same are composed of accumulated subtle differences, and we ourselves and the world are constantly changing. By directing our gaze to such fragments of daily life, he presents a perspective that re-evaluates the value of easily overlooked moments.
