"IN the memory that flows."

Ayaka Shirota

The work is based on the theme of time gone by and memories that continue to flow. The orange ball floating in the center is a symbol of the "past," and the black and white figures depicted as if quietly rallying around it embody abstract concepts such as memory, emotion, and experience.
Memories of the past contain not only joy but also suffering and pain. Each time we recall them, emotions are evoked, and the accumulation of these emotions gradually shapes our self. This work depicts the relationship between memory and self-formation through symbolic composition and color, presenting it as a scene in which we quietly reflect on our inner selves as they flow.
