Yakumo Taro

Yakumo Taro
Yakumo Taro

From an early age, he grew up in an environment surrounded by paintings, influenced by his father, an art dealer, and his mother, a metal engraver.
He started to hold a paintbrush at a young age and was fascinated by the colorful world, but at the same time, he felt uncomfortable with traditional Japanese painting.

Since the early 2000s, he has traveled to numerous galleries and art fairs, gaining experience at the forefront of contemporary art. Approaching art from multiple perspectives, he continues to explore the nostalgic side of modern society and the inherent two-sided beauty of humans and nature through his own unique binary philosophy, based on the concept that "art is entertainment."
