Matsuura Susumu

Born in Asahikawa, Hokkaido in 1989, and graduated from Dotou University, Faculty of Fine Arts in 2012. Based in Sapporo, the artist aims to record human emotions and actions, creating works by reconfiguring daily sketches and photographs into prints. In recent years, the artist has produced paintings that incorporate many elements of their daily life and intentionally reflect themes of "private" and "boredom."
