Information on the lottery purchase of original artwork of Yuki Nishimoto

We have finally started accepting lottery tickets for the sale of Yuki Nishimoto's original work for the first time in Japan.

Original artworks by sumi-e artist, Yuki Nishimoto, will be on sale for the first time at ART FAIR TOKYO 2025, which will be held from Thursday, March 6th to Sunday, March 9th, 2025.

Yuki Nishimoto has attracted attention both in Japan and overseas for his dynamic yet delicate brushwork. His sumi-e paintings, which have previously only been exhibited in museums, are now finally available for purchase.

World-famous artist

In 2018, his solo exhibition at the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum attracted approximately 45,000 visitors, and his work was sold at Art Basel Hong Kong in 2023, rapidly increasing his reputation in the global art market. He has worked on many historical events, including the official art for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, the original background art for the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen, and decorations for the World Aquatics Championships.

Furthermore, in March 2025, he will begin production of a commemorative work for the "Toyokawa Inari Gokaicho" (opening of the shrine to the public) for the first time in 72 years. This will be a valuable work that combines tradition and modern art.

Purchases are by lottery

As a large number of people are expected to wish to purchase the works to be exhibited at this year's ART FAIR TOKYO 2025, a lottery system will be used.
