Works by up-and-coming illustrator Minami Keita, who is an artist represented by the contemporary art gallery "YUGEN Gallery" (Omotesando, Tokyo; operated by Gene Co., Ltd.), will be exhibited at his solo exhibition "Quantum" at HB Gallery in Shibuya, Tokyo.
Starting Friday, August 16, 2024, HB Gallery will host a solo exhibition by Minami Keita entitled "Quantum", featuring works that won the Grand Prize (Book Designer Suzuki Seiichi Award) at the "HB File Competition vol. 34".
Approximately 30 crayon and digital collage works will be exhibited, including the brilliance-themed "illumine" series, which won the Jury Prize (Picture Book Author Iino Kazuyoshi Award) at the MJ Award 2024, a magazine competition hosted by MJ Illustrations.
Please come and see Minami Keita's works, which will shake the viewer with their lightness and uneasiness.
