Statement

Born in 1986, this Tokyo-based textile artist graduated from Bunka Fashion College. The artist creates textile works inspired by the subtle scenes of everyday life and landscapes encountered while traveling. Finding a connection between the gradual process of weaving—where fibers overlap and build up—and the slow shifting of a landscape, the artist aims to capture the delicate transitions of light, color, and atmosphere as if sketching within the weave.
