Sparkling City A
This work is featured in the group exhibition "Daily Fables," which uses characters as a medium to explore the boundary between reality and fiction, and the location of the self.
The landscapes depicted in Yoshisako Tsubasa's works are reminiscent of Kagoshima, where he is based, but are imbued with colors and atmospheres that do not exist in reality. The clear brushstrokes and vivid tones on his canvases blur the boundaries between reality and fiction. The rabbits that appear in his works quietly establish a world of fables, acting as a medium between the everyday and the fantastical.
