Moon-shaped ladle

Works exhibited at the group exhibition "KUROism - The world of tea ceremony as seen by contemporary artists."

Special handmade wooden box, black leather, mineral coating once on joints (evian), camellia oil finish on handle

⚫︎The larger furnace joint is machined to a thickness of 0.5mm to reduce weight, and its shape is a distorted barrel shape with dimensions of 55.5mm at the top, 56.5mm in the middle, and 56mm at the bottom.
In addition, the welding at the bottom is done by using an overcurrent to melt the weld all the way to the back ribs to create the undulating effect.
The pattern has undulating edges at the joints, but is fused together to create a beautiful, neat wave pattern, with the corners on the front being accentuated.
The gently curved shape of the handle is caused by thermal distortion during welding.
