Japanese badger

This is an exhibited work from "Creatures," a group exhibition where five artists express animals, plants, fungi, and imaginary beings using their respective materials and techniques. This exhibition focuses on the unseen presence and energy of life, and the relationship between nature and humans, through the diverse forms of "creatures."
Ado portrays the warmth, severity, and unbridgeable distance that arise when confronting animals. In the "Being" series exhibited here, the artist brings the presence of animals living in a different sphere from humans to life on canvas with a quiet sense of their presence.
