Yoshie Kuroda / Born in Fukuoka in 1987.
Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Information Design, Information Arts Course, Faculty of Art in 2010.
Using discarded clothing as her primary material, she creates works that span the concepts of stuffed animals, dolls, and sculptures. She continuously produces "Mokemokemono," imaginary creatures, and presents installations and photographic works using them.
In recent years, she has actively participated in artist residencies both domestically and internationally. In 2023, she undertook a training program in Germany as an overseas researcher for the Pola Art Foundation.
Her major exhibitions include the solo exhibition "Blooming" (Isetan Shinjuku Main Building 6F Gallery, Tokyo/2023) and "Pola Museum Annex Exhibition - Boundaries of Existence -" (Pola Museum Annex, Tokyo/2026).
