YUGEN Galleryが「IWATAYA Life with Art 2026」に出展するにあたり、YUGEN Gallery FUKUOKAで開催中の3人展《言葉のあと、意味のそと》との連動企画として紹介する作品。文字の形や意味が、物や光の見え方をどのように変えるのかに着目し、言葉とイメージの新たな関係を探る。

sionは、日常に存在するレディメイドオブジェと文字を組み合わせ、現実のモノと言葉が示す意味との間に新たな関係をつくり出す。カッティングシートによって加えられた文字は、見慣れたオブジェへの認識をずらし、言葉や物事を捉える際の思い込みに静かな問いを投げかける。
