Seventeen Sea Portraits #05 (Naraha Town, Futaba District, Fukushima Prefecture)
This work was exhibited at the solo exhibition "Seventeen Portraits of the Sea." From 2023 to 2025, the sea in front of 17 nuclear power plants scattered across Japan was photographed. By processing the images, artificial structures were erased, revealing a civilized seascape with no traces of human activity. This work is a series that quietly reexamines the relationship between humans and nature, and the impact of modern civilization on the natural environment.
