Homesickness and the Mother Sea: A Bird-2 Eye's View
This work was exhibited at the group exhibition "Literature in Dots." Ueda Sosuke, who mainly works with printmaking, connects game culture to his own context of using motifs of maps and electronic circuit boards. Starting from the commonality of perspective and abbreviated expressions found between the dot-like map expressions seen in the games he is familiar with and Japanese art such as the Rakuchu Rakugaizu folding screen, Ueda himself connects the game world with the real world.
