Drawing women's faces with manga-like outlines and vivid colors, emotions and presences emerge. The exhibition also includes hand-drawn works using acrylic paints, and the perspectives of each artist are apparent. While distancing itself from the obvious concept of "kawaii," the exhibition focuses on the female face, attempting to portray emotions.
In Richard_kun’s works, the girls stand in a world where reality and fantasy softly blur. Using vivid, non-naturalistic colors throughout, he explores emotions and atmospheres that only painting can express—beyond what can be conveyed through realism.
