Stepping on a frost column

This work focuses on the cyclical process of frost pillars forming, being crushed, and returning to the earth, overlaying their ephemerality and violence. By reconstructing the innocent sensation and sound of stepping on frost pillars as onomatopoeia, it visualizes the repetition of creation and destruction hidden within a small natural phenomenon. Simultaneously, it emerges as a metaphor for irreversible destruction by humans, questioning the distance between unconscious acts and the scars of the world.
