White Noise

This work focuses on the relationship between the artificial soundscape pervasive in modern society and natural sounds as a means of escape. Against a backdrop of sensory fatigue caused by constant exposure to sounds from traffic, electronic devices, and more, the work uses the onomatopoeic "saa" of rain to reawaken our awareness of the natural presence hidden nearby. It is an attempt to guide the audience to quiet solace by evoking sounds through words.
