Mushroom plate

The suminagashi (marbling glaze) on the round plate has a structure where patterns are generated through repeated similar movements. Repetition itself is the condition for forming the shape.

This work is part of "Creatures," a group exhibition where five artists express animals, plants, fungi, and imaginary creatures using their respective materials and techniques.
Through the diverse forms of "creatures," this exhibition focuses on the unseen presence and energy of life, and the relationship between nature and humans.
