Nothing lasts forever
This work is part of "After Words, Outside Meanings," a three-person exhibition that explores how we understand and perceive the world, using words and text as a starting point. Through expressions that navigate between seeing and reading, form and meaning, this exhibition re-examines the relationship between words and images.
Sion combines ready-made objects found in everyday life with text, creating new relationships between physical objects and the meanings words convey. The text, added with cutting sheets, subtly shifts our perception of familiar objects and quietly questions our assumptions when interpreting words and things.
