Contemporary art gallery "YUGEN Gallery ( Omotesando, Tokyo ; operated by Gene Co., Ltd.)" will open its second location, "YUGEN Gallery FUKUOKA," in September 2024, following its location in Omotesando, Tokyo.

YUGEN Gallery focuses on Japanese contemporary art and represents artists from various fields who are engaged in unique artistic expression. The gallery name "YUGEN" comes from the word "Yugen," which expresses the unique Japanese aesthetic sense, and expresses our desire to convey to as many people as possible the appeal of Japanese art works that have the qualities expressed by this word, such as "profundity," "sublimity," "elegance," "grace," "luster," and "grandeur."

This time, we will open "YUGEN Gallery Fukuoka" in Tenjin, Fukuoka as our second location following Omotesando, Tokyo.

With Fukuoka serving as the gateway to Asia, we will proactively hold exhibitions and events that will serve as a bridge between Fukuoka and Tokyo.

We have also decided to exhibit at "ART FAIR ASIA FUKUOKA 2024" (AFAF2024), which will be held in Fukuoka from Thursday, September 19th to Sunday, September 22nd, 2024.

During the fair, we are also planning events in conjunction with "YUGEN Gallery Fukuoka."
