The contemporary art gallery "YUGEN Gallery" (Tenjin, Fukuoka/operated by Gene Co., Ltd.) will hold the artist Saccharani Love's first solo exhibition in Fukuoka from Saturday, October 12, 2024 to Sunday, October 27, 2024 (tentative date).
Ai Sakkarani, who is of British, Indian and Okinawan descent, was educated in both an international school and a Japanese public school, and grew up in an ever-changing environment. Her borderless background has nurtured her unrestrained beliefs, which are expressed in her dense style of painting, which allows the viewer to expand their imagination and leave a lasting impression on the viewer's mind.
Up until now, he has created works inspired by the small things in daily life, but in his most recent solo exhibition he exhibited works that explore themes such as people's connections with their local communities and building self-awareness, and he is experimenting with various approaches to create art that is uniquely his own.
