We are pleased to announce that YUGEN Gallery, a contemporary art gallery operated by Gene Corporation (Head office: Tokyo, President and CEO: Hiroaki Hayashida, hereinafter referred to as "our company"), has joined the Fukuoka Convention & Visitors Bureau as an associate member.

The Fukuoka Convention & Visitors Bureau is a public interest incorporated foundation that aims to promote tourism in Fukuoka City and the surrounding area, actively support the attraction and hosting of conventions such as international conferences, exhibitions, and events, and promote the revitalization of the region. It works with a variety of stakeholders both inside and outside the region to promote the appeal of Fukuoka both domestically and internationally.

The Bureau also operates a supporting membership system, which allows local businesses, organizations, and individuals to come together to support tourism and convention activities in Fukuoka City and contribute to the further development of the local community. Through this system, members can contribute to the cultural and economic development of the region, and have the opportunity to expand activities that utilize tourism resources and local characteristics.

As a base for disseminating contemporary art, YUGEN Gallery aims to enhance the cultural value of Fukuoka and other local communities. By participating as an associate member of the Fukuoka Convention & Visitors Bureau, the gallery will further promote the appeal of Fukuoka's rich cultural and artistic tourism resources, while also contributing further to the local community.
