Contemporary Art Gallery "YUGEN Gallery (Minami Aoyama, Tokyo/operated by Gene Co., Ltd.) has participated as a project partner in the art project "FaN (FUKUOKA ART NEXT)" organized by the city of Fukuoka.
FaN (FUKUOKA ART NEXT) is an art project organized by the city of Fukuoka that aims to create new value and revitalize the city by utilizing the charm of local culture. With the theme of "Fukuoka's Future Envisioned by Art," it promotes the development of the local community and international cultural exchange through art.
This project brings together local artists, cultural organizations, businesses, and citizens to develop a variety of programs to enliven Fukuoka's art scene. The goal is to promote Fukuoka's cultural value both in Japan and overseas by supporting and nurturing local artists, holding citizen-participation events that utilize art, and holding exhibitions that attract attention from both within Japan and overseas.
Furthermore, FaN aims not only to enhance the city's brand value, but also to contribute to revitalizing the local economy and attracting tourists. Through this initiative, Fukuoka will paint a new image of itself as an art-centered city, and continue to grow as a cultural city that attracts many people.
Through this participation, we support the realization of the FaN Project's vision of "From Fukuoka to the World" and aim to act as a bridge to bring the appeal of Fukuoka City's local culture and art to more people.
