``Smash Hits 03'' from ONBEAT will be held at YUGEN Gallery from Saturday, December 3, 2022 to Thursday, December 8, 2022.

This exhibition is a popular project developed by the bilingual art information magazine "ONBEAT" under the title "Notable Young Artists Recommended by ONBEAT", and will be held at "YUGEN Gallery" in Shibuya. .

The participating artists are Shoichi Okumura, Kenta Kawabata, Shinya Koga, suma, Kazumasa Seino, Tarotaros Japan, Keisuke Tsuchida, and Reiya Hatano.

Their best works that are loved not only by readers but also by collectors are gathered together.

SHOICHI OKUMURA

Born 1989 in Beijing, China. 2017 Graduated from Tama Art University Graduate School of Fine Arts majoring in painting. Numerous solo exhibitions, including “Wandering around the garden” (Seizan Art Center / Taipei) in 2018 and “Fantasy Garden” (Kiyoshi Art Space / Tokyo) in 2020. Participated in many art fairs such as “Art Taipei” (Taiwan) from 2019 to 2020, “Art Beijing” (Beijing) in 2019, and “Art Fair Tokyo”. Selected for the 2016 Taro Okamoto Contemporary Art Award, 2017 Art Award Tokyo Marunouchi Yusaku Imamura Award, French Embassy Award, Marunouchi Award (Audience Award), 2018 Adachi UKIYOE Award for Excellence, etc.

Born in Saitama Prefecture in 1994. 2022 Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Fine Arts, majoring in painting. Many solo exhibitions at Taku Sometani Gallery (Tokyo) in 2022. In 2022, participated in many group exhibitions and art fairs such as “MoCAF” (Philippines), “can (not) reach” (Eukaryote / Tokyo), “Meet Your Art Festival” (Yebisu Garden Place / Tokyo). 2019 Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School O Memorial Award, 2020 Kuma Foundation 4th Scholarship, 2022 Sato International Cultural Scholarship Foundation Scholarship. Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1988. 2014 Graduated from the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, majoring in crafts. 2015 Solo exhibition at Iriya Gallery (Tokyo). 2016 "Metal Engraving * War Achievement" (Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store / Tokyo), 2017, 2018 "AKKA-Kanazawa Auction of Crafts and Art" (Ishikawa Prefectural Government Commemorative Shiinoki Guest House), 2019 "Sculpture Exhibition on Wall 11㎡" ( Iriya Gallery / Tokyo), 2017, 2019, 2021 "KOUGEI Art Fair Kanazawa" (YOD Gallery booth), participated in many group exhibitions and art fairs.
