Work exhibited at the group exhibition "Faces."
Drawing women's faces with manga-like outlines and vivid colors, emotions and presences emerge. The exhibition also includes hand-drawn works using acrylic paints, and the perspectives of each artist are apparent. While distancing itself from the obvious concept of "kawaii," the exhibition focuses on the female face, attempting to portray emotions.
In chikame’s works, the girls have eyes that spark intense emotions in the viewer. Centering on female figures and incorporating motifs like plants, her pieces express the vividness, fragility, and beauty of life that appears in a moment. With powerful eyes, her works leave a strong impression.
